I. Skill Anatomy: picture. Explanation.
1. Skill type:
attack interrupts fake;
block reduces damage from attack;
fake breaks block.
2. Style element - internal strength (Internal Skill) boosts damage of specific element styles by 16% or 20% (this boost is not displayed in skill tooltip):
Yang & Hard Internal Skill boost Yang & Hard styles damage by 20%, TaiJi styles by 16%;
Yin & Soft Internal Skill boost Yin & Soft (Rou) styles damage by 20%, TaiJi styles by 16%;
TaiJi Internal Skill boost TaiJi styles damage by 20%, Yang & Hard and Yin & Soft styles by 16%.
3. Skill category:
martial skill has a chance to interrupt spell;
certain skills has interrupt immunity buff;
4. Base Skill Damage:
yellow number is the base skill damage (including weapon base damage and weapon damage upgrades);
base damage growth is a fixed value and is equal to lv1 skill damage * modifier.
armors and weapons can have several enchantments to boost certain skill damage by 10% each (up to +40% damage, this boost is not displayed in skill tooltip.
5. Skill bonus damage:
skill may have boost from Brawn (red number), Posture (green number) or Breath (blue number);
boost is not 1:1, it varies from 10% to 150% of attribute value;
skill can have boost from several attributes;
Weapon Mastery (acquired through Exploring Jianghu event) adds a bonus damage to any skill using specific weapon type, this boost is not affected by style damage boost, it provides up to 194 damage bonus (at lv10).
6. Damage type.
All skills do either external (physical) or internal (elemental) damage.
External damage ignores internal (elemental) defense, but can be reduced by external defense (1000 external defense = 10% damage reduction);
gear and treasures can have enchantment to ignore certain amount of enemy external defense.
Internal damage ignores external defense, but can be reduced by internal (elemental) defense (100 internal defense = 10% damage reduction);
Each internal damage element is reduced by both general internal defense (from active Internal Skill) and specific element resistance (from related meridian and treasures).
Certain meridians give attribute to ignore all elements resistances.
Damage elements are following:
internal damage - yang, hard, yin, soft;
external damage - external.
When you hover mouse over the skill - tooltip description will say something like: "does 56 points of hard damage (2 strikes, 29 points each)" - that's where you can check what type of damage skill does (external or internal);
If skill does not have damage numbers in tooltip - character attributes 'external accuracy' and 'internal accuracy' keeps the name of the last NPC hit by the external/internal type damage - just attack a different NPC and check it.
Damage over Time (DoT) never misses, never crits and cannot be blocked, but is reduced by either external or internal defense.
7. Control types.
Dash skills lock the target unable to move or act during skill animation; pull, throw, knockdown and knockair skills will lock the target unable to move or act during effect duration; all these skills will interrupt the current target action/skill, unless it has a yellow buff which grants immunity to them.
Stun skills will interrupt current target action/skill and make it unable to move or act during effect duration, stun will ignore yellow immunity buff, but red buff is immune to stun effect.
Anti real skills interrupt real skill, but have no effect on yellow/red buffed and fake skills.
II. Skill styles.
Using a skill from specific style will apply a global 7s cooldown to all skills from all other styles (unless you have a Sunflower Manual Internal Skill).
To get the first school style must join the school.
To get the second school style must finish school and main story quests and be at least lv5 school Internal Skill.
To get the third school style must be lv10 Internal Skill.
To get the fourth school style must be 3rd Internal Skill lv20 and farm the school instance (style is school exclusive).
School styles level limits: tier 1-3 have max lv7 (lv9 after 4th Internal Skill open), school tier 4 - max lv4 (lv6 after 4th Internal Skill open).
Other school styles can only be learned from books and are limited to lv4 (combining pages by a small chance can give a lv5 book, arena/marriage event by a small chance can grant a random lv5 skill too).
Factions drop lv1-3 faction styles and lv4-6 cash shop styles (after 4th Internal Skill open - also lv4-8 faction styles and lv7-8 cash shop styles).
Instances and Random Encounters have a chance to drop common style page or skill, those styles have max lv6 (lv8 after 4th Internal Skill is open).
Most of jianghu styles (secret/boss/faction) can be bought via jade medals exchange service, jade medals are earned through various daily activities.
Red is external, blue is internal and green color is mixed damage type.

One Posture (身法/dex) point give: +1 external damage accuracy, +1 all type evasion, +1 long range (green number) might.

IV. Meridians lv144: table (including artifact bonus).
Meridians do not require to be active to level up, but can lvl up only 1 meridian at a time.
Each meridian is related to certain school, order is (in the skills window): emei, wander valley, beggar, wudang, scholar, tang, royal guard, shaolin.
From start meridians have maximum lv9.
New character can have 3 meridians active.
Reaching Internal Skill 1-25 (first tier lv25) of specific school allows to lvl up that school meridian to lv36; reaching lv30 allows to activate 4th meridian.
Reaching Internal Skill 2-20 allows to lvl up meridian to lv72, gives 1 combo point; reaching lv30 allows to activate 5th meridian.
Reaching Internal Skill 3-20 allows to lvl up meridian to lv108, gives 2 combo points and allows to take quest for lv7 school skills and 4th school style; reaching lv30 allows to activate 6th meridian.
Reaching Internal Skill 4-30 allows to lvl up meridian to lv144.
Leveling meridian is 5 times faster with VIP.
Event reward for 22 days straight login grants an item to unlock +36 levels to any meridian, but cost cultivation points to use.
Main exp sources for meridians are: doing damage (to NPC or players), spy quest and group training, battlefield event and doing life jobs.
V. Internal Skill - table.
School Internal Skill tier 1-3 have maximum 36 levels, tier 4 have 49 levels.
Common Internal Skill have maximum 49 levels (64 after 4th Internal Skill are open), eunuch Internal Skill are lv36 max atm (attributes are given for lv49).
Attributes were given at the maximum Internal Skill level.
To get school Internal Skill must join that school, other school Internal Skill are limited to lv30.
Internal Skill belongs to one of 3 element groups: Yang & Hard, Yin & Soft or TaiJi; armor is limited to one of the following element groups, if you change to a different Internal Skill element group - you must also change your armor to match the new element group.
Internal Skill determines the maximum attribute boost from armor, limit = Internal Skill attribute * 1.5. Example: Internal Skill has 32 posture, maximum total posture you can get is: 32 (Internal Skill) + 32 * 1.5 (enchanted armor) = 80.
Internal Alchemy skills allow to swap two any attributes for 30 minutes (can swap multiple times a day), but cannot have more than 2 attributes swapped.
